The CMES Indonesia International Machine Tool Exhibition is scheduled to make its debut in Jakarta from July 2 to 4, 2026. The event will be held at the Nusantara International Convention Exhibition (NICE), utilizing Halls 5 and 6, marking an expansion for the organizer after a successful exhibition in Vietnam in 2025.

Indonesia, recognized as Southeast Asia’s largest economy, is actively pursuing its “Making Indonesia 4.0” initiative, which aims to modernize its manufacturing sector. The country’s metalworking industry is transitioning towards high-precision component manufacturing, driven by demand from the automotive, electronics, infrastructure, and new energy sectors. The domestic machine tool industry currently relies on imports for approximately 75% of its high-end equipment, presenting opportunities for international suppliers.

The exhibition is planned to cover over 15,000 square meters, bringing together leading global machinery brands. It will feature metal cutting machine tools, metal forming machine tools, machine tool accessories, grinding tools, industrial automation, and robotics. The event aims to serve downstream industries such as automotive and motorcycle parts manufacturing, 3C electronics, home and office appliance manufacturing, and general machinery, addressing the region’s increasing demand for industrial equipment and smart manufacturing solutions.

CMES, identified as China’s largest private exhibition organizer by space, is organizing the event. The company has over 24 years of experience, managing more than 600,000 square meters of exhibition space and attracting over 600,000 buyers annually. The 2025 Vietnam edition of their exhibition recorded over 600 million online exposures, 11,602 attendees, and more than 30,000 business interactions.

CMES Indonesia plans to implement an extensive online-to-offline (O2O) media integration strategy, supported by an annual marketing investment exceeding $7 million. This strategy includes collaborations with global and Indonesian digital media platforms, alongside content marketing, live streaming, and video promotions. Offline visibility will be enhanced through highway billboards and street banners placed in key transportation hubs and industrial areas across Jakarta before the exhibition. The event will also feature intelligent data matching to connect exhibitors with qualified buyers and decision-makers.

Additionally, CMES Indonesia is establishing strategic partnerships with Indonesian government bodies and leading industry associations. These collaborations are intended to host high-level industry summits and international buyer matchmaking meetings, creating a comprehensive platform for business growth within the manufacturing sector.
