Hong Kong is set to host four major technology fairs in April, organized by the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC). These events, including InnoEX, the Hong Kong Electronics Fair (Spring Edition) (EFSE), the Hong Kong International Lighting Fair (Spring Edition) (LFSE), and the Smart Lighting Expo (SLE), will bring together over 3,700 exhibitors from 28 countries and regions. All fairs are scheduled to take place at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre.
InnoEX, co-organized with the Innovation, Technology and Industry Bureau of the HKSAR Government, and the EFSE will run concurrently from April 13 to 16. These events will showcase global innovation, cutting-edge electronic products, and advanced technology solutions. A new highlight, “RoboPark,” will feature more than 100 robots, bringing together leading robotics companies from Hong Kong, mainland China, and international markets.
InnoEX will host exhibitors from 21 countries and regions, alongside 18 pavilions from 17 Chinese mainland provinces and cities. Major tech firms like Huawei, China Mobile Hong Kong, and Tencent Cloud International are set to participate. The HKSAR Government’s Digital Policy Office will present its “Smart Hong Kong Pavilion,” focusing on AI applications across various sectors and showcasing over 100 I&T solutions. The fair will also debut a “Low-Altitude Economy Conference” and a dedicated zone.
The EFSE will emphasize AI-driven electronic products in areas such as smart homes, health technology, and pet intelligence, with around 50 new product launches. Its “Startup Zone” will gather over 60 emerging companies. Jointly, InnoEX and EFSE will offer more than 100 events, featuring insights from industry experts on topics ranging from human-centric AI to retail technology.
Following these, the LFSE and SLE will occur from April 20 to 23, under the theme “Go Smart • Live Green.” Approximately 900 exhibitors, including major brands like Foshan Electrical and Lighting and Shanghai Sansi, will display smart lighting solutions and innovative products. A new “Light Lab” will offer immersive displays of smart lighting through scenario-based design.
These four technology fairs are part of the broader Business of Innovation and Technology Week, which also includes events like the Hong Kong Web3 Festival and the World Internet Conference Asia-Pacific Summit. This collective effort aims to reinforce Hong Kong’s role as a regional digital hub and international innovation and technology center.
