TransNusa has launched a new direct scheduled flight service connecting Jakarta with Lombok, aiming to bolster domestic tourism and enhance regional connectivity. The airline will operate 14 flights weekly, providing two daily connections between the Indonesian capital and the popular island destination.
Ticket sales for the new route began on March 16, 2026, with the inaugural flight scheduled for April 17, 2026. Services from Jakarta’s Soekarno–Hatta International Airport (CGK) to Lombok International Airport (LOP) will depart at 5:00 AM, arriving at 8:00 AM, and at 3:00 PM, arriving at 5:45 PM. Return flights from Lombok are set for 8:30 AM, arriving in Jakarta at 9:30 AM, and 6:15 PM, arriving at 6:45 PM. Fares for the Jakarta-Lombok route begin at IDR 899,000.
Datuk Bernard Francis, Group Chief Executive Officer of TransNusa Airlines, emphasized Lombok’s growing appeal as a tourist destination. He noted the island serves as a crucial entry point for tourism in the West Nusa Tenggara region, attracting over 1.2 million tourists annually. Lombok is known for its diverse attractions, including the Gili Islands, Mount Rinjani National Park, and its reputation as a world-class surfing and diving destination with pristine beaches.
In addition to the new Lombok service, TransNusa has increased flight frequencies on its Jakarta-Yogyakarta route. The airline offers a range of service packages, including SEAT, SEAT-PLUS, and FLEXI-PRO, designed to provide competitive pricing alongside premium features. Passengers on the SEAT package receive a 20kg checked baggage allowance, while the FLEXI-PRO option includes up to 30kg baggage, complimentary seat selection, food and beverages, priority services, and flexibility for flight changes or refunds.
TransNusa’s A320 aircraft are configured with 174 seats, offering approximately 30 inches of legroom. This setup reflects the airline’s commitment to delivering a comfortable and accessible travel experience for its passengers.
