RoboSense Technology Co., Ltd. (2498.HK) announced its financial results for the fourth quarter and full year of 2025, reporting its first-ever quarterly net profit of approximately RMB 104 million in Q4 2025. This milestone was primarily driven by strong performance in its robotics business.
For the fourth quarter, RoboSense recorded total revenue of approximately RMB 751 million, a 46.1% increase year-over-year, and an operating profit of around RMB 130 million. The robotics segment saw substantial expansion, with quarterly LiDAR sales volume reaching approximately 221,200 units, representing a 2,565.1% year-over-year surge and a 523.1% quarter-on-quarter increase. Revenue from this business contributed RMB 347 million, accounting for about 49.0% of total product sales.
In the full fiscal year 2025, RoboSense’s total revenue reached approximately RMB 1.94 billion. Total LiDAR sales volume for the year was approximately 912,000 units, marking a 67.6% increase from the previous year. The company also secured the leading global position in LiDAR sales for the robotics sector, shipping approximately 303,000 units.
This performance was attributed to the widespread adoption of digitalized products, an optimized revenue mix favoring robotics growth, and cost efficiencies from in-house developed chipsets. The company led the robotics sector in segments such as robotic lawnmowers, autonomous delivery robots, humanoid robots, and commercial cleaning robots. Its solutions for Robotaxis were adopted by over 90% of global core players. In Advanced Driver-Assistance Systems (ADAS), RoboSense secured design wins for over 167 vehicle models from 35 automotive companies, with 69 models entering production, including 33 design wins with 14 overseas and joint-venture automaker brands.
Looking to 2026, RoboSense plans to expand its annual production capacity to four million units. The company anticipates sustained growth in annual shipments, supported by increasing integration of its LiDAR products across both the automotive and robotics industries.
